After a close weekend in the top 64 of Overwatch Collegiate Homecoming, the top 16 collegiate teams have emerged.
The schools in this bracket were determined by points earned in the 394-team pool play that ran from September 28 to October 26.
Leading the pack is number one seed and reigning champions Illinois State University, who went undefeated in pool play. The Redbirds swept through both the round of 64 and 32 in a 3-0 fashion, making them the favorites to win the tournament.
Joining ISU in the round of 16 are the second and third seeds, Winthrop and Northwood, both of which also went through the first leg of bracket stage undefeated.

The Round of 16
The 16-team bracket began on November 3, but no teams have been eliminated yet. Teams that lost in the first and second rounds of the double elimination bracket will compete once more on November 9 for a chance at redemption.
Fisher College, Converse College, Cumberland University, and University of California Irvine lost in the round of 8, and will have a bye to the second round of the losers’ bracket. They will play again on November 10 for their chance at advancing through the lower level to make it to the grand finals on November 17.
In the winners’ bracket, ISU will take on Bryant and Stratton Virginia for a slot in the winners’ final. They will be joined by the victor of Winthrop University and Northwood University. Northwood lost to Winthrop in pool play, making their record 13-1 to date, and now are looking for their rematch in their semi finals match on November 16.
