College VALORANT is back with $10,000 in scholastic awards and we’ve got you covered on the format, key dates, and how to watch College VALORANT Fall 2023.
After taking over operations for both College VALORANT and Collegiate League of Legends, University Esports, owned by GGTech Entertainment, announced the Fall season for both titles.
Key Dates
This season of College VALORANT will follow a similar format to its inaugural 2022-2023 season, featuring three splits that will build towards the CVAL Championship next spring/summer.
- Fall Tournament
- Registration: 9/12 – 10/8
- Phase 1: 10/21 – 11/5
- Phase 2: 11/11 – 12/10 (No matches scheduled over Thanksgiving weekend)
- Winter Tournament
- Registration: 11/27 – 1/5
- Phase 1: 1/20 – 1/28
- Phase 2: 2/3 – 3/3
- Spring Tournament
- Registration: 1/22 – 2/26
- Phase 1: 3/9 – 4/7 (No matches scheduled over Easter weekend)
- Phase 2: 4/13 – 5/5
- CVAL Championship
- TBD

Format
This year’s College VALORANT format has not changed much, adopting the same format from its inaugural season.
In phase 1, teams will be split into 32 groups of 4-6 teams and will compete in round robin. The number one team from each group will then move on to the mixed elimination bracket in phase 2.
The number 1 and 2 teams from each tournament in each region will qualify for the College VALORANT Championship.
The remaining 30 teams from each tournament in each region will earn Championship points. At the end of the Spring tournament, the top 2 point earners from each region will also qualify for the College VALORANT Championship.
How to Watch College VALORANT Fall 2023
Despite releasing their key tournament dates and format information, University Esports has not shared any information on official broadcasts for the College VALORANT Fall season.
